MAKE: Vector Raygun case
thingiverse
The Vector weapon kit from MAKE magazine requires additional Acrylic plates not included in the package. To avoid disappointing a 9-year-old son, the design was collaboratively created on paper and later translated into Solidworks. After printing the gun multiple times for comfort, the kit was soldered together, installed in the case, and enjoyed by all. The project inspired thoughts of future upgrades like laser sights and lights. Enjoy! Note: Print the gun facing downwards on an Ultimaker clone, and assemble with 3mm screws.
