Make Magazine's third annual 3D Printing Shootout SLA testing relied heavily on Make: branded rook models. A huge thank you goes out to Brad Hill (aka goopyplastic and the creator of LittleRP) for crafting these models specifically for our use. All machine reviews can be found in the Annual Guide to 3D Printing 2015, which is part of Volume 42 of Make Magazine. The full guide can also be accessed online at http://bit.ly/1E9zk17. Viewers are presented with photographs showcasing several printers. The Green ProJet 1200, Red B9 Creator, and multiple color models produced by the Form 1+ machine in White, Grey, Black, and Clear highlight different printing options. 3D printing enthusiasts are encouraged to try their hand at creating a rook on a SLA machine. Once done, they're invited to share their creation along with any special settings used during production.
