Make: Millions of Make robots quickly and easily with a hot glue injection mold. Now, with the time required to make these adorable mascots greatly reduced, you can create more than ever before. The two mold pieces take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to print in total, allowing you to start producing multiple Make robots right away! I'd love to see how different layer heights and printer settings affect your numerous Make robot clones! Printed on a Printrbot Simple. PLA from http://www.makerfront.com Instructions Printed at 0.3 layerheight, but any layer height will work. Designed in 123d design. STEPS FOR INJECTION: 1.Spray mold with cooking oil to prepare it for injection. 2.Set hot glue gun to low settings and let it heat up completely. 3.Claw down the mold firmly before proceeding. 4.Place a layered piece of tin foil in the injection slot to prevent melting. 5.Inject hot glue into the mold until it starts to leak out the air release slot on the side. 6.Wait 20-40 minutes for the mold to cool completely. 7.Pull off the front of the mold carefully. 8.Gently push out the leg with your fingernail and lift the Make robot out of the mold. 9.Enjoy your newly created Make robots!
