This modification is based on Oger's MAKE OF RC TANK ADAPTOR PLATE FOR GEARED MOTORS design. Since I couldn't access the motor linked by Oger, I opted for a different geared motor with 500 rpm (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JR3WX8S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The Sabertooth 2x12 RC-controller (https://www.dimensionengineering.com/products/sabertooth2x12rc) works exceptionally well with this motor. In a resting state, the power consumption is 0.2 A, while at full power it reaches 2.9 A when the chains are blocked. I utilized Oger's original gears in this adaptation.
