Make it Climb In times long past, when batteries were still emerging from the shadows of innovation, kids' Christmas trees often held fascinating moving toys that captured their imagination. Power for these toys came from either the youngsters themselves or the force of gravity. Here, we'll create a tumbling down the ladder toy. A tumbler will climb down a ladder as it moves. The ladder itself is printed, and to achieve this, it's rotated along its z-axis by 45 degrees, positioning it diagonally on the print bed. Ensure that the rungs face the print bed. The slots within the tumbler should be able to glide smoothly along the rungs without any friction, while the rungs must be able to rotate freely inside the cylindrical openings in the tumbler. The tumbler can be adorned with a traditional monkey or, as is done here, a smiley face.
