Make Anything Mystery Puzzle Box
myminifactory
The objective is straightforward: track down that smiley face. But where to begin? That's part of the challenge! This puzzle box prints as a single piece (except for the key) so you can attempt to solve it straight off the print bed. My only rule for solving this puzzle is not inserting your fingers inside, otherwise you might be able to cheat! ------------------------- To print the in-place version, use the "MysteryPuzzle" and "MysteryPuzzle_KEY" STL files. If you don't mind spoiling the surprise (aka printing for someone else), try using the "_pinOnly" and "withoutPin" STL files instead of the combined "MysteryPuzzle" model. This might be easier to print, plus you can make the pin stronger with four shells and the body itself can have two shells and very light infill. Print at a layer height of 0.15mm or parts may not function correctly! This design demands a properly calibrated printer. This prints well on my Ender 3. If you experience any issues, share them in the comments. I want to make my files as universally printable as possible! *I have edited the puzzle since taking the photos, so some things might look slightly different.* Pictured in MatterHackers PRO PLA – blue and yellow...clearly!
