Create a festive garland by snapping together these intricate polyhedra pieces! This challenging DIY project is perfect for building with friends or family, and can be enjoyed with a glass of sparkling drink. Faberdashery offers daily seasonal designs to print and enjoy as part of 25 Days of Making series; this is the third design. For optimal results, ensure your bed is leveled, use Blue Tape for adhesion, and slice with 2 shells and 1% infill at a coarse resolution of 0.3mm. Test your machine with the 'Starter' set before attempting larger builds. The garland requires 51 pieces per meter, using Faberdashery Bling Bling Gold PLA and Arctic White PLA, which amounts to approximately 60g of material (7 meters of 3mm filament or 20 meters of 1.75mm filament). Add some color by building sets in complementary colors. The finished pieces may need slight adjustments before snapping together; the process can be a fun shared experience.
