Make #23 - Stargazy Tree Topper

Our Stargazy Tree Topper was inspired by Tom Bawcock's Eve, a vibrant festival held each year on December 23rd in the picturesque Cornish village of Mousehole (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargazy_pie#The_Mousehole_Cat). This celebration commemorates the courageous fisherman who bravely saved his village from starvation just before Christmas. We adore the enchantment of this tale and the name of the pie savored during festivities. We couldn't resist incorporating it into our collection! Slice with two shells (perimeters) and one percent infill. At coarse resolution (~0.25mm), prints will display extra sparkle (and print faster!). Created in stunning Faberdashery Galaxy Blue PLA. The tree topper requires approximately twelve grams of material (~2m of 3mm / ~4m of 1.75mm filament) and the hanging version roughly four grams of material (~1m of 3mm / ~2m of 1.75mm filament). Faberdashery is releasing daily, seasonal designs for you to print and enjoy. Join in the fun with our 25 Days of Making! http://www.faberdashery.co.uk/25-days-of-making/ This is Make #23 of 25.
