In this surrealistic adventure game created by Shigeru Miyamoto, players find themselves stuck in a perpetual cycle of reliving three days. This loop takes place in Termina, where everything is seemingly idyllic but eerily ominous at the same time. As Link, our protagonist strolls around, observing citizens living their daily routines while oblivious to the impending disaster that will unfold on the night of the third day - a falling moon threatening to destroy their world entirely. One day passes by uneventfully with all inhabitants preparing for what is anticipated as a spectacular view: The Lunar Festival fireworks show at nightfall; but, an unsettling sensation lingers due to whispers about something not feeling quite right in this seemingly serene village. Upon entering clock town, people discuss possible preparations while some individuals like the mysterious postman or that eccentric old guy seem reluctant regarding it. Then you overhear them mention strange and ominous dreams. Time begins to unravel for you once you reach your quarters where everything remains dark. Upon opening your cabinet drawers, find that most belongings belong to you are still missing - with some replaced items now including strange tokens resembling Skull kid's mask...
