Majacraft Bobbins
thingiverse
This is a fancy bobbin I designed for a Majacraft spinning wheel. To make this project, print out two bobbin ends. (Both STL files have the same dimensions, just different patterns.) Connect them with a piece of CPVC water pipe. In the US, 1/2 inch CPVC works well, while in other parts of the world, 15mm PVC is used. Copper and PEX can also work, as they are the same size. Cut a length of the pipe to 107mm (4-1/4 inches). Test fit it to ensure everything fits your spinning wheel. Then use a little SuperGlue (Cyanoacrylate) to secure the bobbin ends to the pipe. Helpful Tip: If your Majacraft is using monofilament (fishing line) for the brake, you may need to replace it with cotton thread. Monofilament can cause excessive tension on plastic bobbins. If this project helps you, let me know in the comments. Also, be sure to check out my other projects.
With this file you will be able to print Majacraft Bobbins with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Majacraft Bobbins.
