Here is a 3D model of a Maize plant at stage V11 with NDVI values color-coded for optimal visualization. Healthy plant tissue glows red while more unhealthy areas appear yellow, and dead leaf tissue, soil, or other artifacts are marked in green. This model was created using the cutting-edge scanner PlantEye, engineered to accurately measure plants under any lighting conditions. Whether scanning individual plants in a lab setting or entire fields, PlantEye uses 3D models to calculate essential plant parameters such as height, growth rate, and biomass. In addition to providing detailed measurements, PlantEye simultaneously scans the plant in RGB and near-infrared wavelengths to assess plant coloring and overall health.
