This unit is for breaking out the mains to 4mm insulated banana plugs, it allows a single gang UK switch or socket to be mounted. In order for the m3.5 screws to bite a little bit of 1.75mm filament can be dropped inside the holes which will allow the screws to bite. Requires 8 panhead 3mm self tapping screws. The screw holes for the banana plugs are smaller than the banana sockets, DO NOT use the uninsulated terminals as this will expose live parts.
