Mainboard Test Bed (MKS/SKR)

thingiverse

This is a test bed, designed to help test different mainboards, stepper drivers, stepper motors, and firmware. MKS Gen L, MKS SGEN L, SKR 1.3 and SKR 1.4 (+Turbo) will fit on this bed as the size, layout and hole spacing is virtually identical. I'm using a 12v 8A power supply with a barrel connector since there's no heated bed or hot-end. You can use a standard 3D Printer power supply and connect it directly to the board if you wish. There's a mount for a 4010 fan (12v - 24v, depending on Power Supply) for the stepper drives that need it (ie: Trinamic). The display mounts are for the Reprap Discount Smart Controller 20x4 (2004) LCD with built-in SD Card Reader. The 2 Stepper Motor trays fit standard 40x40mm Stepper motors (standard and pancake). You will need: 8 m3x5 5mm long brass threaded inserts 8 m3x5 Hex Head Screws for melting into the frame to hold the mainboard and display board. I use a soldering iron on the brass threaded inserts to do that. And: 2 x m4x6mm (or longer) Self-Tapping Cooling Fan Mounting Screws I've included the original F3D design file so you can modify it for other mainboards or display boards as needed.
