Please Note: All downloads, 3D printing, and use are at your own risk. I have designed a main wheel-well Side Covers for the Freewing F-14 80mm EDF Jet. This is not meant to hide/conceal the main wheels, but rather make the main wheels look less noticeable when the gear is retracted, as well as fill the noticeable gap in that area of the fuselage. After printing, some sanding may be required to smooth the rounded top. To install the main wheel-well side cover(s), add a small line of glue (I prefer Beacon Foam-Tac glue for this application) on the bottom and sides of the fuselage where the side cover(s) will go, and set them into place. While the glue is drying, ensure the side cover(s) remain secure/fixed until the glue is completely dry. Perform a test retraction and extension of the main landing gear to ensure adequate clearance exists. As always, any time modification is made to an aircraft like weight being added, removed, or redistributed please check that your aircraft CG is within the proper recommended range before flying.
