Main Trusses - PEA Cage
thingiverse
In May 2016, the 90-year-old fieldhouse at Phillips Exeter Academy came crashing down in a dramatic demolition. I grew up surrounded by the Cage, yet looking back on those days, I took its presence for granted. Thanks to Nicholas Moore, an Exeter alum and architect who's made preserving the Cage his life's mission, I got the chance to start building a model of this iconic landmark from scratch. These are the main trusses that make up the Cage's framework. If you want to see the entire structure in one piece, download "Cage Main Trusses.stl." If you're feeling ambitious and want to assemble it yourself, download "Cage Main Truss A" and "Cage Main Truss B" separately. I'll be posting the rest of the model soon for everyone to enjoy.
