Main Brush Motor Protector for Kobold VR100 and Neato XV

Cats are indeed adorable, but having multiple ones with an abundance of fur can be disastrous for your vacuum cleaner robot - I should know, two of them managed to destroy mine three times over! The primary issue lies in the main brush motor, where there's a considerable gap between its casing and the output drive gear, revealing the naked axle. This is where the problem begins: the fur wraps around the axle, compressing it between the case and gear, which ultimately causes the motor to seize up. Frequently, I'd receive the "brush blocked" message, and the motor would overheat, emitting a pungent smell. Over time, this also affected the internal motor mounts, causing the rotor to wobble within its casing, producing an ear-piercing noise that eventually led to a complete blockage. To avoid having to free the axle with a long scalpel every two weeks and using tweezers to remove the fur, I took matters into my own hands and created a protective device that prevents fur from wrapping around the axle in the first place. By closing the gap on each motor without compromising its function, these protectors have successfully extended the life of the fourth motor by more than a year.
