Mailbox Key Holder
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my DIY project with you - a hinged mailbox key holder that doubles as a miniature mailbox. To attach it to your wall, simply use double-sided sticky tape (just be mindful of the paint). Once printed, slide one peg deep into one side and carefully slide on the other. If things don't fit quite right, you can always file the holes a bit to get them to work. One thing to note is that the size of this key holder makes the pegs a tad fragile, but I'm confident it will last for a while. Here are my print settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 15% One tip - I also printed this design at 4000mm/min without any issues. However, if you want the pegs to look their best and be more solid, consider using a smaller resolution and possibly a lower speed when printing.
