Mailbox
3docean
A classic mailbox design crafted from glossy gray/black material that can be easily customized in Blender, features a door that rotates to open and shut, held securely by sleek gray metal pieces, a bright red flag on the side, and a sturdy wooden stand. All components are parented together for smooth movement. Both high poly and low poly versions of this model are available in the download, with one version for each file extension. However, the high poly model has some issues, primarily due to smoothing the flat side, resulting in a noticeable crease on the side (as seen in the final preview image). In addition to the models, I use Blender and Cycles Render for all my 3D modeling, animating, and compositing projects. Unfortunately, exporting to other formats can be problematic, particularly with certain extensions not importing well back into Blender or losing material nodes and textures. For optimal results, I highly recommend using the .blend file, which is fully set up and ready to use. Other formats like 3DS, OBJ, and FBX may experience issues such as flat shading, missing materials or textures, lost parenting, and incorrect origin placement. However, UV maps are preserved in most cases.
