The springs of my mailbox were worn out, but I could not buy them anywhere. Nor could I find a mailbox that fitted the existing gap in my door. So created my own mailbox with on the inside a bag for the mail to fall in. The size of the parts demand a large printer and on my CR10S printer it barely fitted. The sketchup file is included for you to maken changes if needed. The word file contains the latest revisions. Mailbox gap size needed in the door 330 x 43 mm ## Needed: - 6 x Magnets 8x3mm to keep the flap tight when it is windy. You don't want to be awake all night due to a flapping flap. - 2 x M4 bolt and nut. The length depends on the lenght of your door - Alumnium strip 3x30x1000mm to mount the bag - Textile to create the bag - Velcro 350mm to stick the bag to the inside of the door ## Open points - The springs needs some adjustments to make them fit the gaps. The sizes in Sketchup are oke, but when I print there is a slight difference, hence the need to file them a bit.
