Playing MahJong as a non-Chinese can be tricky when trying to identify The Table Wind or the players' Wind position. The Tiles in the game box have Chinese characters for the Winds but lack English names and equivalent numbers. I designed a custom Dice with 4 faces, featuring the Chinese character, Position number, and letter for the wind in English. This helps clarify the Wind positions. To make gameplay smoother, I also created a "Compass" with its cover. Each player receives one Compass at the beginning of the game. The first player selected with the Dices gets the Red cover, while others choose from Yellow, Green, or Blue. The first player places their cover to read "E1," and other players turn theirs to set their position (S2, W3, N4). At the end of the game, each player turns their cover 1/4 circle to get the new position. When the player with the Red cover returns to "E1" again, it's time to change the Wind table (Tile). This modification significantly simplifies gameplay for non-Chinese players.
