MagShips: Preview Set

This is an advanced setup designed to be part of an expansive project in development. Expanding upon my preceding modular spaceship construction sets, I've integrated magnets to make rapid and effortless reconfiguration possible. This assembly includes the fundamental components necessary for a compact vessel, and these basic elements will be interchangeable with forthcoming parts that are on the way. Note: To complete this build, you'll need 5 mm magnetic spheres. I utilize the (previously banned) BuckyBall magnets commonly found on office desks everywhere. Since the components are scaled for 5 mm magnets, you could potentially resize the model to accommodate different magnets (4 mm magnets - scale down 20%, 6 mm magnets - scale up 20% and so on). IMPORTANT: BuckyBalls (and similar magnetic toys) were removed from the market due to a critical safety issue. Small, potent magnets are extremely hazardous when ingested and can cause severe harm, especially to young children. Please do not allow small children to assemble or play with this set without close supervision.
