A MagSafe charging puck stand.

Remixed from the Articulating Pi Camera Mount, this is an adjustable stand for holding your phone or headphones.

Required Parts to Print

Holder - Pick one of: no-tab, mini, regular, or max. The difference is the size of the tab on the side. The tab is used to help you remove your device using a single hand. Pick the right size for your device or use no-tab for a clean look or for AirPods. The puck should press-fit with no adhesive required.

Base - 1x

Bolt - 1x thumb_bolt from the original

Nut -1x I recommend this Smooth Nut remix which is textured differently from the bolt so you can tell which side should be unscrewed, but you can also use thumb_nut from the original if you want matching textures.

Printing Details

Print holder face-down with supports on build plate. The support material might be difficult to remove, but this part will be hidden anyway once you put the MagSafe in.

I printed in PETG at 0.15mm for the detail on the threads and adjustment bumps. You should be fine to use PLA or print at higher thickness if you want.

Design Details

The hole in the MagSafe holder helps if you need to remove the charger. This way you can just push on the back with a pencil or something instead of pulling on the cable.

Holes along the backside of the stand can be used to zip-tie the cable to the stand. If you have an iPhone Max and want to hold the device vertically, you may need to remix the base. This base will hold a Mini vertically, and should hold all sizes an the tilted angle.
