On March 21st, 2016, I revamped my website after leaving it dormant for two years. I've spent hours polishing and updating its content. I hope you find the new site simple and easy to navigate. Please visit http://www.designique.co to learn more about MagSavior Products, including my new Google Cardboard variant (pending Google certification). Have you ever experienced your MacBook's MagSafe power adapter being blown away unexpectedly, forcing you to purchase a new one? Have you noticed that the joining part of the adapter and the cable has a kink inside? This is because the negative shielding has worn off, causing increased electrical stress on the adapter. You might hear a "POP" sound one day. If your MagSafe adapter is still functioning, you may be interested in an accessory that can extend its life before searching for "how to fix MagSafe adapter." I have designed a small clip that reinforces the flexible end of the joining part between the cable and the adapter. I'm proud of my creation and want to share it with everyone to ensure their MagSafes remain safe. Please check out my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/DesigniqueCo for updates. To print the cable saver, use ABS with an infill rate of 15-20%, a shell of 2, and a layer height of 0.2. Scale it to 1.02 to ensure a proper fit, as my 80W and 65W adapters have different cable thicknesses. Attached photos explain the installation process of the cable saver. PLA may be too brittle. Don't forget to share your feedback with me!
