This cradle is designed to be glued to the side of a workbench, and supports a MagSafe 2 MacBook Pro Retina charger. It suits chargers that are 80mm square, mine is the 85W model. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: i3 MK3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Filament: 3D Solutech PETG Natural Clear Notes: Do not print in PLA, because the warm temperatures of the charger are likely to soften it. I used PETG which is working great. Enable the generation of supports "everywhere". In Slic3r, load the "Cradle.stl" file, then edit that to add "Support Blockers.stl" as a Part in "Support Blocker" mode. This prevents supports from being generated in the side vents, which aren't required and would be difficult to remove. Printing time is estimated at 3 hours 3 minutes and 42 grams. I have included the editable Fusion 360 project source! Post-Printing To glue it to my workbench, I put a few squiggles of medium CA glue onto the back face, then spritzed the workbench with CA activator, and pressed them together. The bond was complete within a couple of seconds. Category: Computer
