MagnumGP MCLx v1

MagnumGP MCLx v1

cults3d

Based on the MCL35M Steering Wheel used by Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris. It is a pretty solid design and it can withstand good amounts of NM. Design files are suitable for both large bed printers or a "basic" sized bed (My case an Ender 3). You have magnetic shifters and the option to add analog clutch paddles. Electronics and extra details: I used the following items in order to make this wheel. (Have in mind that this is not a ridiculously expensive project, but it isn't cheap) You can find all this components on aliexpress that way you can save good money. -Arduino Pro Micro (USB Cable). -Nextion 4.3" screen. -TTL Converter -M3 Screws, Nuts and washers. -Jumper (Dupont) cables. -12mm momentary push buttons. -KW10 Micro switch -EC11 Rotary encoder -RGB LEDs individual module. -Toggle Switch On Off On -8mmx2mm circular neodimyum magnet -Carbon Fibre Vinyl. -Customized Stickers -Superglue. -Plastic PLA Soldering Kit. -Sanding Paper. -Soldering Kit (SPC). -Patience and love for the project. You can also use a normal and cheaper 4.3in Reverse cam screen it uses RCA Cables to display picture (You'll need to take it out of the casing it comes with, quite easy 3 or 4 screws) Not that bad but if you have the means you should go for a Nextion or VoCore screen! You can also use it without a mounted screen. There are both files in the ZIP. Electronic connections aren't difficult! You can use a matrix scheme. (There is a picture that can help you out figuring out things, if not watch AMStudio video on button boxes). Arduino code uses a pretty flexible base. You need JOYSTICK LIBRARY for ARDUINO (You can find it on github for free!), in order to make it work. Uses a normal 70mm star pattern QR. (File Not Included).
