Magnifying lens support for 4" lenses

I designed this sturdy and simple support as a replacement for a poorly-designed metal rim that came originally with a 4-inch, hand-held magnifier glass. The glass is secured in place by a long 350 mm (14-inch) tie wrap, 5 mm wide (max.) that remains recessed in a slot that runs on the outer wall of the rim. A slit in the upper part of the rim allows the tie wrap to exert the necessary hoop tension to keep the glass securely in place. The bounding box for the design is 110 mm (W), 136,5 mm (L), and 18,3 mm (H). For esthetical reasons I left the surfaces faceted, however, the inner wall channel where the glass is fitted got faceted too. That could be improved and made cylindrical for perfect seating of the glass. In the lower part where the support will attach to the handle of your choice/design (in my case I kept the beautiful original horn-like handle) there is a recess for a washer in order to distribute the load better and an M6 hole for the handle retaining screw. In my case, I painted the screw head in gold leaf to match both the brass washer. Washer dimensions are approximately 14(ID) x 7(ID) x 1(H) mm. Please share your improvements to this design. Printing: 0.12 mm resolution. 1.44 mm walls. Infill: 50% No supports Material: PLA @ 195 C Speed: 50 mm/s Full print came to about 47g in weight (15.61 m of 1.75 mm filament).
