Magnifying Glass Lamp Lens Ring
thingiverse
These items can be found at many office supply stores, Walmart, and Amazon.\nThe magnifying glass is secured by a thin-walled, lipped bushing. If you tend to grab and twist the front of the lamp like most people, you can crack the ring, causing the glass to fall out. I tried gluing it with E6000 glue, but it soon cracked again.\nA replacement ring has been found that fits several versions. Although the lamps look different, the magnifying glass and attachment ring are only slightly varied. You may need to scale up or down. I suggest printing a few layers first and removing what's on there to verify the scale. Adjust if needed and reprint it.\nDo not monkey-tighten this down. I think that's why the first one broke. It needs a little flexibility, or a total redesign to make it much beefier....Hmmm.....I might do that.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Hatchbox Delta\nRafts: Doesn't Matter\nSupports: No\nResolution: .3-.2\nInfill: 25%
