Magnifying glass holder with socket

This handy magnifying glass holder employs a socket designed to work seamlessly with this ingenious locking ball and socket system: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:824711. It's perfectly suited for use with a 7.5 cm magnifying glass acquired from a dollar store, and the lens can be effortlessly extracted by using a hacksaw to cut the rim at one location. CAUTION: The 7.5 cm lens is somewhat heavy, making it prone to drooping when attached to the ball and socket system alone. That's why I developed this longer ball and socket joint: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2770809. Examine my photograph of it in use closely, and you'll notice two of these longer joints are employed. Fewer joints minimize the risk of drooping. The fundamental concept for the ring that holds the lens originates from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:801279. However, I created the ring from scratch to make it easier to edit the mesh in Blender, ultimately resulting in a design with fewer polygons.
