Magneto Rechargable Emergency light wall mount
thingiverse
With frequent load shedding becoming an ingrained part of daily life for South Africans, many have taken the initiative to purchase the popular Magneto rechargeable standby LED light. I'm among those who own a few, strategically placed throughout my house to provide immediate lighting during power failures or load shedding at night. To ensure hands-free operation and keep them off the floor, I designed a simple wall mount bracket for the lights. I use 3M VHB tape to secure these wall mounts wherever I need to utilize one of the lights. This print is a testament to simplicity and effectiveness, achieved through a 0.3 mm layer thickness and printed flat on the bed without support. Although it served its purpose, I'm considering revising the design to make the hooks more robust, as some have broken off due to accidental bumps. This quick 5-minute design was born out of a real-life problem between power outages and has proven to be a practical solution. These lights can be printed in any color to blend seamlessly into walls and cupboards.
