Magnetically Tweaked Photo Sweep Stand

Credit goes to HPaul for designing it, and to Claghorn for his creative remix. I wanted to add functionality by using large poster-board and heavy sheets without the backdrop slipping and sliding around too easily. My solution was straightforward and utilized dollar tree magnets! The pack in the photo cost $1, and my Dremel made removing the magnets from their packaging quick work. A layer of hot-glue is optional to keep the magnets from falling out. I say this because the magnets I used fit perfectly into place. I have also uploaded step files for anyone who wants to modify the design to accommodate different sized magnets. Now we have the same great backdrop that HPaul and Claghorn gifted us, but it can adhere to a metal surface for a more stable base (not shown). If you orient your magnets correctly, there is a hidden feature : ) as seen in the photo.
