Magnetic Z Probe End

*Update I have added a new V1.5 file that has some refinements, I recommend printing it with a brim just to keep it in place as its pretty small but otherwise no supports are needed. Updated build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vep8SfPnRFY I never liked using the alligator clip to secure the Z probe to my router on my CNC and one day the wire going to the clip broke so I took it as a sign to do something about it. I designed a small holder to allow a wire to pass up the middle of the holder that would secure 1 or 2 10mm x 3mm Magnets with a counter sunk M3 screw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80uIr2SW_oU Things you will need are: Z probe with an alligator clip you are willing to cut off Wire strippers 1 or 2 of these magnets: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07C3NX5B2/ 1 M3 counter sunk head screw Heat shrink tube Cut off the alligator clip on you probe, strip back about 10 mm of wire. Place the magnet in the cup of the holder and run the wire up the hole in the holder. Wrap a bit of exposed wire around the screw and then screw the screw and wire through the magnet and into the holder.
