Magnetic Workbench Tray
thingiverse
This is a 125mm x 100mm tray with magnets for keeping small screws, bolts, and nuts (and other metal parts) organized and safe while working on them. The wells are easy to remove items from, and the magnets keep them from getting lost. You can use 2mm x 8mm or 2mm x 10mm magnets to insert into the bottom of the tray. If the magnet holes are a little too tight, you can open them up with a reamer or a knife. If they are too loose, you can use a glue of some sort (such as a dab of hot glue). I printed this at a .25mm layer height. You need some minimal supports for the magnet holes (10% zig-zag in Cura works). I used a 10% lightning infill in Cura for the rest of the tray, as it doesn't need to be very strong. You can, of course, use this without the magnets. Just bear in mind that *everything* is cooler *with* magnets.
