Magnetic WiFi Antenna Bracket
thingiverse
I have a Wi-Fi camera that needed a longer antenna cable with the antenna attached to bring the signal into an area where my Wi-Fi network could receive the data. This bracket allows the typical Wi-Fi longer range round antenna as shown in the photos to sit inside the assembly securely and then attach to steel purlins upside on the roof so that it looks neat and professional (and not just a dangling Wi-Fi antenna from the roof!). To create both sides you simple mirror the mesh on the X axis to create the opposing half face from the STL file. I used two 19mm M5 with countersunk head screws, washers & nuts with two embedded "Round Rare Earth Disc Neodymium Magnets N35 15x5mm with Hole 5mm" in the face of the assembly that you want to attach to the purlin (or metal wall) as shown in the photos.
