Magnetic trickle charger license plate mount

I'm installing a magnetic trickle charger connector on my Lotus using a license plate mount from Magcode, which I purchased through eBay. The kit includes a "Power Port" bracket that attaches to the car's frame, a cover for the port, and a "Power Clip" where you insert the charger cable. There are two types of mounts available: one bolts in front of the license plate or frame, while the other is designed to bolt behind it and wraps around the top edge. The latter looks sleeker but requires more clearance above or below the plate, depending on how you orient the holes. This setup will provide 12v power at the license plate location and can be used for any car with a standard American-sized plate, as well as other applications that need a convenient charging point.
