Magnetic Travel Chess Set

Thanks to Kagarov and his CastleChess, I needed a chess board and slightly got carried away.It became a great exercise in learning OpenSCAD.The squares are 12.5mm and the overall size is: 115x115x20.5mm.The inserts are a tight fit but can be removed with a bit of work, suitable to swap for different pieces, games etc. Magnets can be included to help hold everything together. There are cavities in the box, drawer and the pieces for the magnetsThe box and drawer magnets are 5x5x1mm. They can be a bit tricky to fit.The board and piece magnets are 3x2mm. I do suggest you use these as the pieces are very light and easy to knock over.Print with a 0.25mm nozzle. No supports needed.I also have a 25mm square version but the original magnets I ordered aren't strong enough and currently waiting on some replacements. I will upload that version when I have tested it for strength.
