Magnetic Swiss Keyholder
thingiverse
I'm completely smitten with the Swiss Key holder from thingiverse.com, specifically Thing #98427. As a manager at a prominent wholesale club, I need constant access to my keys while on the job and found myself getting bogged down by digging through my pockets. To streamline this process, I created a belt holster that secures the keys via a dovetail and magnets. To enhance functionality, I eliminated the key ring loop and added an extra set of magnet inserts outside for optional securement of a box cutter if desired. The magnets used in this design come from harborfreight.com (item #67488). To print the holster effectively, use vertical orientation to avoid supports, 20% infill, PLA material, and M3 hardware. Simply press-fit the magnets into the holes with a pair of pliers, taking care not to apply excessive force.
