Using magnets has a different height and swept area. Rubberized rear supports are needed to protect door glass at truly unexpected conditions. Moving disk is tight connected to the hinge/axis. This part has the control magnet. Permanent magnets are inhibits the fast door opening. The door opening are smooth. Rear support may have the same magnetic pole as a control magnet, then, the door opening will be amortized without any mechanical contact.
