A spare or replacement top cap fits various brands including Leonelli's magnetic Stop / Kill switch, also sold as Jitsie and Apico models. It can also accommodate a generic switch bought from online marketplaces like Ebay. To assemble the cap, you will need a 10mm diameter x 5mm high magnet (or an equivalent size of 10x3 works too). Simply place a few millimeters of filling behind it to secure it in place. The lanyard is made from standard 10mm flat boot laces. To join them together, melt the surface of a 25mm length at each end with a soldering iron or lighter and fuse the flat surfaces together. A bead is included to tighten the lanyard around your wrist. When inserting the magnet, be careful not to bend it. Once pushed home, apply a quick heat with a lighter or soldering iron to allow the lip to be pushed over and secure it in place. It's essential to note that the orientation of the magnet matters for the switch to function properly. Check your specific switch before inserting the magnet as different models like Leonelli and Ebay switches may use opposite polarities.
