This is a magnetic slip clutch designed specifically for mounting a 16mm film reel to a motor. The input side accepts a 6mm D-profile shaft, while the output side features an 8mm square shaft for secure mounting of the reel. To assemble this project, you'll need several additional parts beyond the printed components. These include: 1 x washer with dimensions equivalent to USS 1/4" - I measured around 6 mm in diameter, but feel free to modify it by drilling out the inner bump and substituting an SAE 1/4" instead 3 x Neodymium Ring Magnets from Magnet Source brand (available at Home Depot) measuring 9.53 mm OD and 1.53 mm thick 1 x 1/4"-20 x 2" set screw for added security A tap and tap wrench for 1/4"-20 threads will be useful during assembly, as well as your preferred adhesive - I used a hot glue gun but super glue might be a more convenient option.
