Magnetic Shock Absorber

Magnetic Shock Absorber

I conceptualized a modular robot creature design a few years back, featuring interchangeable parts connected by snaps that allowed for adjustable rotation angles. Although I only managed to create the magnetic shock-absorbed attachment, my idea was to have a highly adaptable robotic system. To achieve this, I employed common 3/4 inch round refrigerator magnets, securing three at the top and bottom of each end with like polarities facing inward. This clever arrangement harnessed magnetic repulsion forces to extend the shock.
