Magnetic Screw or Paperclip Tray

Tray for holding small items, such as screws and paperclips, engineered to fit 5x10x20mm magnets embedded in the base. Curved design enables effortless removal of tiny objects like washers from the tray. After accidentally purchasing 100 of these magnets on eBay at an unbeatable price of £2, I designed this project using Tinkercad. To secure the magnets, I used Bostik All Purpose adhesive, but you can employ your preferred glue instead. The sides and bottom of the tray are reinforced with extra material to ensure it withstands the rigors of being stored in a tool box. The magnets are strategically placed at the bottom, allowing for easy removal of screws and other items while maintaining a firm grip on metal surfaces.
