Magnetic Safety Lock Wood Screw Adapter

<p>These Adoric Magnetic Safety Locks are pretty great. I got a bunch for safety of our, currently April 2018, 7 mo old and installed them. Unfortunately if you also have old cabinets and/or badly painted cabinets with their nth coating you'll also find they just tear the thin surface wood and weak paint.</p> <p>I need something that would screw down but couldn't find anything. So I made and am sharing these handy adapters. They're a bit bulky so not going to be able to install them in drawers but they're working a treat on the cabinet doors.</p> <p>I used 1/2in cabinet wood screws to attach the adapter over the lock and the same for the modified catch.</p> <p>If you have any other ideas please share them. Can always use more great solutions to child safety in small living spaces.</p> Category: Household
