A Versatile Magnetic Support for Prota MicroBot Pushbutton Applications A magnetic, removable support enables users to employ a Prota MicroBot Pushbutton on a switch without the need for permanent adhesives like glue and/or tape. This innovative support can be seamlessly integrated with button plates to provide a lasting fix of the button onto the (detachable) support. Each button comes equipped with three of these versatile plates, which are also designed for effortless 3D printing. To activate the magnetic support, four magnets must be securely fastened into the holes of the support, as well as strategically positioned behind the plastic plate of the wall power switch. This switch already features a metallic frame, rendering additional adhesives unnecessary in this area. Feel free to modify its dimensions to suit your unique needs! The support showcased in the photographs has been custom-cut into four pieces to accommodate larger magnets instead of the originally intended ones. Alternatively, users can simply reprint it with enlarged holes. Designing this Magnetic Support I leveraged Autodesk Fusion 360 to bring this innovative design to life.
