this design is a magnetic quick release system for actioncams or other small cameras. One half of the system is mounted for example on a tripod (with the help of a 1/4 inch nut), the other half is mounted on the camera with the help of a 1/4 inch photo screw. With several adapters, you can quickly switch back and forth between cameras. There are two versions, one with 6 mm magnets for light cameras, and one version with 10 mm magnets for slightly heavier cameras. What else is needed besides the printed parts: - 6 neodymium magnet discs (6 or 10 mm in diameter and 6 mm long) - 1x 1/4 inch nut - 1x 1/4 inch photo screw When mounting the magnets, make sure that they are inserted the right way around, so the magnets must tighten.
