Magnetic pushpin (Thumb tack)
thingiverse
A friend bought me a roll of red PLA, and commissioned me to make two of these (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4745852). I had never printed something requiring pausing and inserting magnets, so to do a dry run on the process, I took this (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2049359), scaled it up, removed the pin part, and made internal cavities for three 8x3mm magnets. My print looks a little rough (I was working with this PLA, AND with PrusaSlicer, for the first time), but it works well. no picture yet, but it looks just like a pushpin stuck into whatever magnetic surface you select. (I'm using them as refrigerator magnets, hence my 'kitchen and dining' category. :) Use whatever resolution you like. Pause between 3.5mm and 3.8mm to insert the magnets.
