<p>In the season of remembrance many of us wear our poppies with pride, as a symbol of the duty and sacrifices made by those before us.</p><p>I created a printable recreation of a typical RBL paper poppy that can be worn with magnets. This should be more robust that a paper poppy and with easy magnetic fastening to replace the pin is more suitable for kids and adults.</p><p>The hard plastic nature is more resilient and robust, no more curled edges or torn scruffy paper and less likely to be lost.</p><ul><li>Printable on any printer, quick to print, using less than 2g of filament.</li><li>10 min at 0.2mm layer height.</li><li>Printable from 0.05mm &nbsp;to 0.2mm layer heights.</li><li>Use <a href="https://help.prusa3d.com/article/color-change_1687">colour change</a> (M600) on the layers, to print the three colours of green, red and black in one piece - no need for MMU.</li><li>Suitable for round and bar shaped magnets with optional bar if you wish to use two round magnets.</li><li>I use 20x6x1.5mm Neodymium magnets simply CA or super glued to the back, but any Neo magnets should be capable of holding the weight onto thin cloth.</li><li>Try experimenting with top layer <a href="https://help.prusa3d.com/article/ironing_177488">Ironing</a> to see if you like the style.</li></ul><p><i>Version 3 updated to make it slightly thicker at 1.2mm, allowing a minimum of 2 layers per colour at 0.2mm layer height, I recommend 0.10mm for great results.</i></p><p>This isn't intended to replace your paper poppy, simply a robust supplement.
