Magnetic Picture Frame
thingiverse
I needed magnetic display holders that could hold family photos on my fridge. I sought out simple designs and wanted to use leftover 3x8mm round magnets from another project. What you see is what you get - I'm not adding any extra flair. The outer frame holds two of the 3x8mm magnets, which press fit perfectly in my case, but may require gluing or tapping with a hammer if your printer tolerances and magnet sizes are off. These holders are designed to hold typical 6x4 inch photos. Simply print one of the frames, insert your photo into the provided cavity, and then snap the "insert" into place at the back to secure it firmly. Keep in mind that one magnet can support the frame's weight, but I prefer the added stability of two magnets for extra peace of mind.
