Magnetic Pick-up Tool

thingiverse

I've come across a magnetic ferrite ring in my hardware store and I'm excited to create a Magnetic Pick-up Tool - I wasn't even sure if that's its actual name. Essentially, it's just a handle with a magnet on the end, handy for locating lost screws or other metal items that have been misplaced. The magnet I found measures 22 mm in internal diameter, 50.5 mm in external diameter, and has a thickness of 10 mm. I'm not sure if there's a standard for magnetic rings, but if you find one with different dimensions, feel free to ask in the comments and I'll upload the STL. Once printed, simply insert the magnet into the handle and secure it by screwing on the cup. The magnet may shift slightly as it settles into place.
