I created a pencil holder for my son that can be hung in his locker's corner. It has spaces specifically designed for neodymium magnets like these: http://www.amazon.com/Earth-Neodymium-Magnets-Pieces-Applied/dp/B0012AUU84/ref=pd_sim_hi_4. A word of caution: ensure the 3D print is not scaled or the magnets won't fit. The design plan was printed on a MakerBot Cupcake printer.
