Magnetic parts tray skirt
thingiverse
I rely heavily on these affordable four-inch / one-hundred-millimeter magnetic trays for components and they perform impressively. Nevertheless, tiny parts have a tendency to become lodged on the magnet underneath. In order to keep debris away from this magnet, I developed two variations of a protective skirt. The first design is a straightforward shield that reaches up to the tray's rim; however, if you want it to remain attached when lifting the tray, it needs to be glued in place. The second version is more compact and securely hugs the rubber coating of the magnet, thus staying on by itself without requiring any additional support.
